Having lived studying for the NCLEX one piece of advice is take a deep breath first. Next, most of your nursing school curriculum and experience will prepare you for the test. I would recommend either taking a NCLEX review course such as Kaplan, etc (can google NCLEX review courses) and make a plan to study each system (cardiology, medical/surgical, women’s health/OB, etc) one system a day. Each student who takes it should know how they study and what their studying style is and use this to their advantage. One study source I used was the Sanders review book. My personal goal was to study a different system daily from three different sources over a month’s time then take my NCLEX.
