How do I become a pharmacist?
Get your prerequisites done (either by earning a bachelor’s degree in one of the sciences OR completing the pre-pharmacy credits required at a university with a pharmacy school). Then complete an accredited 4-year pharmacy program. Then pass the NAPLEX exam, and fulfill whatever other requirements are mandated by the Board of Pharmacy of the state in which you’re planning to practice.
Apply to work as a pharmacy technician to gain hands-on experience. This can be done at your local hospital or retail. Retails like CVS will train you from scratch.
